But if you have some skill ...in soldering and desoldering....go to Rat-Shack....and do it your self ...you have to de-sealed the Guage....but after you put some Silicone ......
Hope this help

I have the same problem with my leds going out . has anyone tried to re solder and it work out? ive pulled my gauge apart, there are alot of little fine contacts going into the circuit board how do you get them all hot enough to pull the whole strip off the board??

I have some instra trim gauges. If things dont work out, get some pics of your gauge and I'll see what I have......

I have an Insta trim indicator as well, when I turn the key "on" the lights at the top and bottom of the gauge come on, but, the others don't, regardless of tab position? There are 2 ribbon cables and a 12v wire going to the gauge. I have cleaned the actual indicator pieces that clamp around the trim rams, is there ANY way to troubleshoot the gauge and/or wires to see if it's getting a signal?

Thanks!
Michael

I might have a cut or short in the ribbon cable, is there a way to check it with a multimeter?

Thanks!
Michael
