I agree with the other statements, how you care for your boat is what gives it it's longevity (atleast in most cases). The only thing that would scare me about blue power is the additional gas money!

I'd kill to have my 500's back. The 496HO's are nice but don't have any midrange compared to the 500's in my 33. It's the only thing in my new 36 i'm not thrilled about. Would love to add the Raylar kits but bought the 5 year extended warranty.
C'mon 2011.

How do you compare the 36 ride to the 33? just curious what your opinion is.

The 36 feels alot bigger even though it's only 3 feet. It seems to be not as nimble as the 33 turning and it takes more time to come on plane. You can really feel the extra weight. More freeboard in the 36 and it rides somewhat smoother although the 33 rode great in big water. I really like the looks of the 36 much better. I know its basically the same boat but the 36 is much better proportioned. The three feet is all in the nose and it looks more "offshore" than the 33. I also like the McCleod seats better than the Aero Bolsters. I think they should be standard in the new 35. The Aero's make the Cockpit in the 35 look cheap IMO.

Just a factoid that might have you and others think some more about the Raylar 103 - 525kits. We now have over 200 of these kits are on stock 496Mag's & HO's worldwide and not a single engine failure yet. Some of these kits have been in service now about two years and in some cases a lot of hours. Even though extended warranties are good, two or three years of what you think is subpar performance and lack of excitement might be worse! Another 10 mph or so will certainly get any performance boater excited. Just some food for thought for those on the "fence".

Not yet , kinda wish we had time now for one, but we're just busy trying to keep the 496 program on track. Maybe this comming year we'll get something put together.
