Easily over 100k.

I'm guessing 80ish

( you could probably get a nice used 30 o/l w h.o.'s,
that would accomplish the same thing for the same $$ )

i cannot manage a twin engine boat, and i cannot fit anything over 28ft in my stall. Honestly i am looking at a 28 AT when i get the $$$$, but I read the Boating mag review of the new 26 and they said they would put a 600 in it for the right price.....sounds like a lot of fun.

ThereŽs nothing so far that indicates that the 26 will be faster than the 25. So 78 mph is what I expect the 26/600 will do....unless you put an Imco extension box on it with a 3" lift. Then it will do 83 mph(my estimate!) ....which is pretty respectable even when compared with most of the stepped custom boats.

Good looking boat with good proportions, and more cockpit space than the 25.

100 gallon tank is ok even for a 600.

To pick up 22 mph (run 88mph)you would need at least 350-400 hp more than stock which would be 750-800 plus. After 75-80 mph you need at least 20hp for every gain of 1 mph on these non-stepped bottom bajas unless you strip out the cabin, interior, spare seats, blue print the hull, optimize the x dimension, run with no passengers,no gas, etc,Smitty
