Well our plans have changed just a little.
We are going to Destin. The wife wants a QUIET holiday and we have a hotel in Destin that is CHEAP that time of year and is next to the boat ramp and has a free slip for the boat, good parking for the rig and a place to hose down the trailer and flush the boat.
Wife and I will go down Sunday before Thanksgiving and have a couple of days to ourselves, then my son and his girlfriend will drive down Wednesday and my daughter will fly in Wednesday. Then we will all leave out the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
We plan to grill out on the island for Thanksgiving and just lay around and cruise.
Weather shows to be high 60's to low 70's so it should be fun.
The first time I will have my kids together on the boat at the coast.
Thanks for all your help and suggestions. We'll make it down to Tampa one of these days.

Doc.
Sorry to hear it! We were hoping you would make it down this way. This is the first Thanksgiving we have spent here since we have lived here (10 years) I understand as our kids are the reason we will be here. Plan on coming down for one of the Poker Runs next year! We just did the PRA run this past weekend ( i committed a sin and rode on a 43 Donzi) and had a blast! The OPA runs are the best! We always book July 4th or Labor Day so make your plans!

I had not considered the races at all. Did not even know the dates. Now I may have to look at going a couple of days earlier and see some of the events. It would be ashame to miss them by one day.
Thanks
