Re: Guys help me out. I need your opinions.
Alright guys. I hear you LOUD and CLEAR.
Even though I'm at that point that I feel I could live with them, I'm sure everyone that saw the boat would go "YUCK".
I especially do not want to look GAY. Thank you BajaRunner for watching out for my best interest! LOL
Sydwayz I have thought about that also, but I think it would be too much trouble and cause too many other long term problems. Thanks for the suggestion. You confirmed that I was not totally crazy!
Actually Reds Outlaw has the right idea and that is what I'm going to do. I plan to mount them inside the air intake where they can still be heard, but not seen. Actually this is another idea I have had and shared it with SteelOutlawed and he did just that on his 33 Outlaw a couple of weeks ago. It worked out very well. Just making sure that is what I wanted to do first.
Again, thank you all very much, and for Wild Card 09, the problem is you have to get around them first. When you go by them and they hear the pipes dead straight from behind they seem to dissappear!

Doc,
I have the air horns on the 442 and we have had a few problems with these too. Nothing is perfect or lasts forever so just keep in mind while they are better protected, you will still have maintenance.

When you get them mounted post some pics so everyone can see how they look.
