He told my buddy he wanted $100K for it.
When he said that was too much, he said to just make him an offer, that he wants it gone.
We think $40K to $50K.
If it has just been sitting in a barn for a couple of years it need some work.

Dock,The old Baja dealer here in Dallas had the boat for sale for a while.I think they still have it in one of there hangers south of Dallas.I heard it run once at a Poker Run and it was quite loud.Dry exhaust I think.Let me know if you need someone to look at it for you,I still have the Old dealers sons cell number.

Any idea of what the overall condition of the boat is?

Thanks very much for posting the picture. I would love to own that boat, but need another one like I need a hole in the head.
If you find out any details let me know. I am very curious about the boat and the reports that is really wants it out of his way.
May be a good deal and a fun boat for poker runs for sure.

I am sure he wants it to go away, but he is NOT hurting for money! I know what he has in it and that is probably the least amount he would take! I might be wrong, but I doubt if he "gives" it away. I am sure he could make someone a good deal on it though!

A few details I learned about the "B36" Outlaw Race Boat.
It was built as a race boat from the factory for a then Baja dealer named Mike Hoffman.
The boat was shipped without power. It did not have any cuddy or back seat.
Originally it was raced with 700 HP motors and #3 drives with old style transmissions.
It ran in the low 80's and interestingly enough it ran almost as fast on smooth water as rough water.
The boat never did have a first place finish, but did have a second, third and a couple of fifth place finishes on the race circuit.
