Jeff,

Thanks very much for the added pictures of the 420. Can you share any other performance data on the boat?

Doc

I was just talking to Skip Pillsbury who works for Marine Max( I rent them space to them) and he has the Baja Poster and RC model of the 420 Pace Boat.

Cool

I have a really nice picture of the boat taken by CigDaze (formerly "BajaDaze) taken years ago in Tampa Bay at an APBA race.

I also have a beautiful like new poster thanks to our good friend Jay "Never Enough".

It is a VERY cool boat. I was just thinking about the story Blane Aarup told me of when he was driving the boat at around 90 MPH and they slung a blade off one of the props!

This boat was the official APBA pace boat for 2 years. Mike Ohrt (Low Moore, IA) purchased this boat from Baja. He has completely gone through this boat w/ New - Interior / Paint / Props / Gauges / Engines (rebuilt & dyno tuned) / MSD Ignition / Trailer. Since he has gone through this boat he has used it very little, less than 100 hours on it. Mike has around $280,000 invested in this boat and a-lot of time. It is for sale and could be purchased for $169,000. This boat is extremely mint!!!
