I see you live in Katy, I live in West University close in and just bought a 33 Scarab on saturday. Where do you plan on boating? We are looking to go between Clear Lake (my folks have a place on ****inson Bay in San Leon) and Lake Travis . We will be going out the first time on Cl Lk May 5th. Not sure if you have had a HP boat before (only 18' donzi and a cruiser for me) but maybe we coudl hook up.
I'm 44, wife is 43, and have a 7yo son. and "expected" GF with the new ride may be about 23 or so....

Well folks, I've had a chance to play with the 30 a bit and absolutley love it. What a step up from the 22' Crownline. I have been on Lake Conroe and Somerville. When my house is done at Canyon Lake, that will be my home lake. As for may 5, I will be down at a friends party in Clear Lake. I can PM you and maybe hook up. I only boat on pure fresh water, so won't have boat with me......

Congrats on the new ride! I did the same as you. I bought a '92 270 Baja from Shogren's in early April, stepping up from a 21' Crownline.
It's powered by a 502. We finally got to use it this past weekend, and am very impressed with how well this boat hooks up. No slide in the turns, extremely fast to plane, and it makes such a pretty sound. LOL!
Congrats, again!

You will love the 30OL.
