What gear ratio is your outdrive? And what top speed are you hitting with the 21? Thanks.

I run a 30 pitch labbed merc 4 blade on my 272 when I'm running with a full load,32 pitch running light, 1.50 ratio drive. You asked what us 272 owners use ,when my boat was stock I ran a merc 3 blade 23 pitch with a 502 mag,Smitty
