H2X info???? any help would be great!!!
 

hey everyone, looking at buying a new H2X, 496mag/bravo 1. any input on speed, ride and any overall info would be great....... i don't see much on the H2X but i'm really wanting one pretty bad.:D i'm thinking the boat would run in the high 60's and maybe touch a 70 on a good day. thanks in advance for any help...........:chimp:

Our H2X has been a great boat. Nice looking lines, and your right on with speeds. Ours is up for sale now. Custom paint & nice upgraes throughout. Shoot me a message if interested.

Here are some pics of yschmidt's H2X. I just painted this boat and did several upgrades to it earlier this year . I can tell you this boat is very clean and well taken care of. If you are serious about an H2X, I would take a long hard look at it .

I´ve got a 1999 H2X with a 575SCI and Superchiller.
The boat tops out at around 85 mph and handles the power very well. WOT and fully trimmed out it sometimes starts chine walking at 80++.

We use it on the River Rhine here in Germany where we have all kinds of chop. Sometimes from every direction. A little more deadrise would sometimes be better but it handles also big chop at 70+ very well.

The cabin is. . . forget the cabin.

The boat is very strong built. I do not have any stress cracks in the gel.

It is a really nice boat.

What is the differance between this H2X and a 25 outlaw?

forget that! Get a 25' Outlaw. The H2X has a 21 degree deadrise, so there's not so much boat in the water, the motor is way too heavy for that hull. If you launch it or hit big waves, the bow goes straight up and the stern drops hard because of the weight. I was almost thrown out of one when I hit some waves.

The Outlaw has a 24 degree deadrise and lands flat, so the hull is deeper and the bolsters drop so you can actually stand and don't have to sit to drive, among many other differences.

If you're spending the money to buy a new H2X, then use that money to get an Outlaw that's a few years old. I just sold my 2005 25' and I guarantee that I sold it cheaper than you'll pay for that H2X.

Thanks for the info, i have a Crownline to trade in so if i don't sale it i have to stick to a dealer which i'm working with now. i love the custom paint, looks GREAT..... want a Crownline? the dealer has a 25 Outlaw as well with 496 Mag Ho/bravo x drive so i'm looking at both as of today. we boat in smaller lakes and we never see much chop and never see waves. if the wind is blowing reall hard we may get a few white caps but 2 foot tops and that's rare. i was thinking the outlaw is too much hull for where we boat. but i'm leaning towards a Outlaw more and more.

So you'll never travel to a different lake? There's no such thing as too much hull.

Once you get inside the Outlaw and the H2X, you'll rule out the H2X. I've owned both....
