I believe when they say "raised x" it means the drive height on the boat has been raised by the manufacturer per the dealers request. So, when the manufacturer cuts in the drive on the back of the boat it is cut in higher than what the manufacturer suggests. The "x" on a boat from Baja is conservative from what I hear. You must be looking at a H2X from Hawkeye. They seem to really know what they are doing when they set up a boat. My 29 has a raised x and it is faster than a lot of other 29's not set up by them. If ya are looking at the lime green one at Hawkeye, talk to Scott. Tell him Glenn sent ya.

There seems to be quite a bit of speed gained by raising the x on the H2X. I read on TBM about this guy who put on a 2" shorty & gained a respectable amount of speed by doing that.

Hawkeye knows whats up. Their 35OL run better than Lucky7s this spring at the Hawkeye Poker Run.

I am pretty sure that shorter x-dimension will improve both handling and top speed.

Some of my friends raised their x-dimension and they have this result.

The factory setup is very conservative.
