Your lucky your flying. It's a really nice drive from here to El Paso. Really scenic---thats why they upped the speed limit to 80

The thing I like about boats is if you run out of gas or lose an engine you coast to a stop and drink beer. A plane.....

A small plane is the same way. The glide a long way, hell everyone I've ever seen made it all the way to the scene of the crash!

Jay,

I dont think it would be very good for a poker run. Its WAY down. I bet if it was full it would work. Kinda like travis when it gets down to 640's

Jason,
Thanks for checking it out for us. The poker run is next Sept. so I guess we'll have to see what the water level is then. Hope your fishing went well. Call one of these days and we'll get together for a few adult beverages(if you can get permission)

I brought a turbo 182RG back from LA once and the most I could get out of it was 165kts. @ 11K. I don't like oxy masks, so didn't want to go higher, and I don't like to run 'em hard, but 165kts. (189 mph) is pretty respectable, I don't care who you are.

165knots is damn good. Ive seen over 200 knots ground speed with a hellaous tailwind. TAS is usually around 140 knots in my six. They are like a suburban, slower but will haul almost anything you can fit through the doors.

Just added a waas 430, they are worse than boats for little add-ons
