I owned two 29's,
ridden and driven a couple of 30's.
I love the 29, my only gripe with the boat
was the rear cleat placement.
The only gripe I have on the 30 is engine room
space.
Changing a sea pump impeller looks like a real treat
At least on the 29 the upper portion of the back seat
comes out, and gives you a little more room.
The 30's I've driven seem more stable than my
last 29.....but then again, they weren't as fast as it
either. ( HO's vs. HP500's)

Some of the upgrades on the 30 include split shifters/throttles, more room on the passanger side bolster, V berth storage - seats into bed and a head. The 2004 30 Outlaw has a higher X and will be a little faster unless you can find a newer one that has the 2004 x. There are few out there. The back seat is wider on the 30 as the arm rest are bench level.
How much $$$ we going to spend? I like looking for others !
