Baja Quality Up
Over the years, I've come close to buying several Baja's including a '98 252 Boss, '97 272 Islander, '97 232 Islander, '02 252 Islander, '99 272. For various reasons the deals were never finalized and I ended up purchasing other boats. At the Chicago, Louisville, and St. Louis boat shows this year, I took a close look at Baja again. Specifically, I checked out the 277 Islander and the 30 Outlaw. Without question, Baja's quality control is way up from the boats I looked at and test drove in the past. Fit and finish is excellent for a production builder. I was particularly fond of the 30 Outlaw at the St. Louis show. Nice boat!! Good job Baja!

I agree.....could not be happier with my 30 Outlaw or the 25 Outlaw I had before it. The in-gel graphics are amazing and I love the high quality fit and finish along with the state of the art design elements of the all the Outlaw models.

I agree with you, I would like to add that while many consider BAJA a production boat, let me add that all 23' hulls up use SCRIMP process that is they Vacume Bag their hulls. Also on the 23 Outlaws and up they are reinforced with Kevlar in high stress structural points. As I showed at our boat show, all the in Gel colors and graphics that are available.
I find it amazing how a "production boat" can offer a nicer finish in gel colors, custom stitching, Custom McCleod bolsters, and custom color cockpits. More than many so called "Custom Builders".

I also agree. We had a Powerquest, (custom boat builder) and moved to a 35th Anniversary 25 OL. We love the boat, and I have to say, I believe that quality is everybit that of the Powerquest.
