I post here on OSO a lot and for me it is the best site and the one I enjoy posting on and I have to agree with others that the majority of the knowledge is here.

I have been out of the loop a lot and just happened on PBP yesterday and apparently a lot has happened and a lot has been deleted before I got there so I did not know what was going on.

Again Darrell has never done anything to me and other than the website, a poker run, boat party and seeing him for a brief time in Miami at the boat show I really do not know him any better than I know you or most anyone else on that site. I have enjoyed the communications with everyone and I try to find and see the best in everyone until something happens to make me think different. For the most part you and all the folks I have encountered boating are pretty good people. I would rather misjudge someone thinking they are better then they are to not give them the credit they deserve. The old saying you cannot judge a book by the cover.

Well again I'm in the dark and because Darrell always seemed like a good guy to me I had no reason to believe or think otherwise.

Here's exactly what he told me yesterday:

1) I lost my job in September after the banking crash
2) I took a job at LOTO, moved into my condo there until I could get established and move Connie there and never got paid after two months of work
3) While at LOTO my wife had an affair with a forum member and also with my brother which has caused a terrible feelings and problems within my family with my brother, mother and father
4) I had to let my boat go back to the bank because it was either feed my family or pay the boat payment
5) Then he told me that Connie had her second tumor removed and was on chemo and that he was at the hospital a couple of days ago and they thought he may be having a heart attack.
6) I have not been a saint myself but I'm trying to get my life together and I hope to work out everything with Connie and get through the holidays.
7) He said he felt as if everyone has turned against him and that he appreciated my support and did not mind me discussing this with anyone.

If the above is not true then shame on Darrell for making up such a story.

Again Darrell has never done anything to me so I am not going to appologize to anyone for believing him and supporting him just like I would the rest of you if you came to me with these problems.

If it is all a lie I am still not going to throw the guy under the bus but instead I plan to pray and pray hard for him in hopes that he can get his life straightened out.

He has problems wether the story is true or is not true and I pray to God that he can get the help he needs and get himself straightened out.

As for the poker run I attended I am pretty sure there was not a dime left over to go into anyones pocket much less a charity. I cannot speak for any of the other events that I didn't attend.

I contacted four of my friends and asked that all contact Darrell and keep he and his family in their thoughts and prayers.

I cannot imagine how if would be to either be in this situation or to find it necessary to tell someone that you are when in fact you are not. The bottom line is this person needs our prayers either way and their is power in prayer.

Like I told Dave on the phone today I respect him and understand his post. However what I find interesting is that I'm told it should stop when Blake is the one that started it all over again. I really do not plan to forget it until he appologizes and I really don't expect him to do what he is demanding of his subjects.

Tell Blake he should not have started it by calling me a "MEAT BALL" on the pulic forum and see what happens to you on his website. I bet you will not be welcome again.

When I contacted Blake via email to discuss it I was given a go to hell response and told that my email was blocked and sure enough it was. Then a friend tried to do the same an he was given a nasty reply and his email blocked also.

It is always a one way street with Blake and TBM but no one will tell him that for the FEAR of being banned.

How can anyone ask this guy for forgiveness?

I simply have to laugh.

Funny how we are going from Darrell to Blake. Maybe there is something in the water with these forum operators.

While Darrell never did anything to me Blake on the other hand has gone out of his way to be as nasty as humanly possible.

Go Figure

Well guys I'm out of here for the holidays and plan to turn the computer off and enjoy the holidays.

Maybe it will be better next year.
