Ok, I had a little difficulty finding this "redemption" thread.......
I read the whole thread. Very touching, nice apologys.
I found the above quote quite funny. I was repeatedly told by Blake over the years to "stick with my own kind", (meaning TBM). To me, my own kind would be anyone that likes anything and everything to do with boating. Why should I limit myself to one website because someone doesnt like me looking elsewhere. I may have Baja in my blood, but as long as it floats Im willing to talk about it or look at pictures of it!
Not many people know this, but it got so bad that at one point I was offered a FREE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to TBM (the ones you guys have to pay for!) in exchange for staying off another website. I gladly accepted this membership, and kept on visiting the other site because no one tells me what I can and cannot do online. That free membership didnt last long.
I take a peek in on TBM every 2 months or so just to see if the site is still up since Foutain took over. Ironically, there is more action in this tiny corner of OSO than a whole website dedicated to the subject.

Holecut became my specialty. I was so nervous, I would measure at least 10 times, then get opinions from other people.
Im sure Dave remembers me dragging him out of the office a couple hundred dozen times to look at something before I cut!

The best was the quote where he called teambaja an "all around general shoe". I swear I am going to get t-shirts printed up.
Now, let's get back to the 40 PR boat OR START ANOTHER THREAD TO CONTINUE THIS. If we keep screwing around here Dock's thread is not going to be the longest and most viewed in the section.

There might be a "banned" person in the pic though

Ok I can understand a few people that don't like each other and don't get along. You know what that is just the way it is different strokes for different folks. Those people should keep it between them selves, not stir up a whole community of people.
What I don't understand and don't agree with is the bashing of a whole site and the people that are on it. If you have a problem with a person take it up with them. Don't go around saying that the other people on the site are "TOOLS, FOOLS, SHEEP, IDIOTS" or whatever disparaging remark you can think of. They are just people that go to a site to get info, meet new people, and have some fun.
Who cares what website, has what people on it. Who cares what website got a bit of information first. It's an Internet board not a contest. I really hope that people have better things to do than to track who got what bit of info first on a chat board.
I am not going to name any names, but some people on both sides have made some pretty nasty comments. It is really pretty childish and everyone should just stand back and really consider what they say. I think most people face to face would never act the way they do on these boards. Like mom always said if you can’t say anything nice, then just don’t say anything at all.
I personally go to many boat boards. Some of them have more traffic than others. Each has it’s own feel. I think each board has something special to offer. Why would anyone want to cut them selves off from a possible opportunity to make a new connection, gain a bit of knowledge, find a source for materials or find a new place to boat?
As I will be posting this on both of the boards TBM and OSO, I hope we can all find a way to get along in the new year. There is so much more to be gained if we work and play together, then fighting amongst ourselves.
I wish you all happy holidays and a prosperous New Year!

Amen, and well said.
I too get pretty tired of the bashing and could care less who says what. All it does it make me respect the person doing the bashing a little less. We all should have a bit more integrity.

Some more pic's
The business end.... Todd installing mufflers after
AJ got a noise ticket,..... and a side shot.
No banned members were used in the taking of these photo's, but there may have been a couple of banned members in the show room at the time that the photo's were taken.
I really don't think any of us banned people over here have
any problems with anyone else over there, with the exception of one person, the person who banned us.
We are who we are....he is who he is

That was a funny story on Split. We built the boat with pressure activated mechanical mufflers from CORSA. These do a great job of taking out the high annoying freqs of the exhaust note. Running the boat hour after hour really became annoying with the straight exhaust that was on Lucky. The first thing Hawkeye did with the boat was pull the mufflers and put straight pipes on. The second thing that happened was AJ got a ticket his first time out on the boat and...yep as you noted, mufflers went back on.
