Makes my day when I hear something like that. Not because it is an ego stroke, but because it lets me know my work goes noticed. Hell, I guess my work goes noticed even when I don't run. EVERYONE knows when I'm broke down.   |
Gotta remember performance is a Work In Progress as long as the progression is forward and AHEAD, and from what I was it was was way AHEAD...... When I could see:cool-smiley-011:

Did you take out the seat base or just the seat back ?
With just the seat back out, it's still a MOFO. When I had the engines out of my 97' 29, I had the seat base out, and that made getting to them easy, but it was a lot of work to get the seat base out, as I recall. How did ya get the seat base out? |

OOOhhhh, you're taxing my memory...that was about 10 years ago:D As I recall, you take out the seat back, ( easy enough to do) and then, you take out all the fasteners securing the base to the floor, I believe there were even some screws on the engine compartment side of the base. Battery switches and battery boxes had to be dealt with. We took out the bolsters. We took out the interior side pieces that the back seat cup holders are housed in out, then it would come out. You then, can get right at everything. |

It is all worth it when someone says they were "running hard or at least thought they were" when this 29 went by them like they were standing still.
