If I wasn't harrassing you you'd think I was mad at you---I agree--you have done a good job on that boat and with the speeds you have run your pretty much on the top of the heap along with a few others!!!

Put wings on that thing under those conditions and call it an airplane.

1) there are rollers on a lake..............their called cruiser wakes. Or atleast thats my lake terminology

2) I was at Texoma on Saturday and sunday in the same 25mph winds with 40mph gusts. Thats the biggest lake in TX and OK and I did see a 4-5ft chop with an occasional 6 in the middle of the main channel. I doubt any other lake in TX could have produced a 4-5ft chop. The waves were 3-5 seconds apart.

I was good to get up to 50mph in the rough, but then again it was only my 3rd time to have the boat out. I did feel that it could have handled a lot more speed, and I probobly could have used a bigger set of balls. SOOOOOOOOOO if he hugged the shoreline I will say that is very plausible. Those speeds are very impressive nonetheless.

Never seen them 30 second rollers yet but Dock come up to our lake and on a badd day she'll put a hurtin on ya you'll remember Any Vid of that run ready for you tube ???

Again I am talking about frequency (distance and time apart from one to next) as measured in ocean conditions. I have seen them and have boated in them and when they are far apart it is really nice and you can fly. When they are close together theya re a bear.

Believe me I have a LOT of respect for the boating you guys do up in the Great Lakes. That seperates the men from the boys. After running Lake Erie twice now and and glad my lake is smaller.

Yes but run over one or two and you are good. Not like an ocean where you have them coming at you continually. I can hit a nice BIG cruiser wake at 70 MPH + and fly high and keep running. Put them back to back to back to back and it is a whole new ball game.

I have been in actual 5-6 six foot seas based on the NOAA weather radio and coast guard reports and believe me you are NOT going to run 50 MPH in them.

I have heard from a lot of folks that it does really get rough on Texoma and I would not be out there if the wind was blowing 40 to 50 MPH but with all due respect I find it hard to believe an inland lake can produce 6 footers (measured as they are in the ocean).

Oh hell.......talked to Corp of engineer who sent me to a Texoma park ranger................who gave me an uneducated guestimate..........said it could have gotten up to 4ft on saturday and he's never seen 5's on Texoma. Also said he hadn't been stationed there very long. Also said there was currently a 2.5-3ft chop and its currently 18mph wind with 26mph gust. So I guess I was in 4's on the main channel of the biggest lake in TX.

I know from guys first hand that it gets rough out there for sure. I was told by a guy that if you are on that lake and see a storm coming to "GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY" or it will be bad.

Regardless of the actual size of the wake, roller or what ever the speed Jason got is impressive especially under the conditions.
