Man I would be soooo pissed if that is all I could get. You see 30 OL with HO's run that all the time.

Let me clarify, 30 Bravo props at 88mph is what a good base line would be, yes this boat has more than 88 to give.

That's down near 10% slip which is excellent.

I was expecting a higher number and assumed the raised X and the big rooster tail was costing a few MPH.

The large skegs of the sportmaster
lowers aren't helping matters either.

Throw some regular XR lowers on it
and speed will go up.

Boat should run high 80's easy.

I have been involved with a bunch 30's with HO's, both with stock X and raised and 82-83 is tough to see. Not sure what you guys are doing to see that speed??? Care do share?

Hawkeye sold a 525 30 and it ran 92-93.

Maybe not 82 - 83, but 80 - 81.

Here are a few in the classified:

I don't have any GPS photos. I didn't realize that low 80's were hard to achieve.

This makes sense.

That first one was sold new here in Knoxville I believe. We had that one at our dealership for over two years and sold it as a left over in 2006 if I remember correctly. I am pretty sure this is it, the buyer was from Louisiana.

As for the boat with 600's all I can say is that the 30OL was not enough hull for those motors. The one they delivered in Tennessee was way over powered and really dangerous in the opinion of many that ran it. The boat should be a triple digit boat but it was impossible to drive over 95 MPH. They may have dropped the drive deeper or simply proped it at a safe speed. I do not know for sure, simply making a guess based on what some folks in the know told me at Baja.

sounds about right, I do know thats a hell of alot of power for a 30' OL ...the dealer has been trying to sell it for over a year and a half now and no bites...

Didn't know if you guys have seen these yet or not - but this is the last Baja that the orginal Baja Marine produced.

30 OL with 525's, raised X and Sportmaster lowers. Pretty sweet. Look at the f'n tail!! :cheer:

Any guesses on speed here?

I'll have to disagree. Since the 415 is still being finished, Im calling that the last Baja.:drink:

The yellow 30 is last down the assembly line though.
