Man it is gorgeous out today as well. no wind and good sun. I'm tempted to get out for a little while just get a fix. Tomorrow may be even better.

Yes I was just outside with one of my salespeople thinking the same thing. It is short sleeve weather. I had to be in the office today and the forecast looks even better for tomorrow so I hope I can pull a trip off to the lake tomorrow afternoon.

I'll post in the morning if we are going to make it out.

It's a blistering 42* here today....had to go outside
to unload a truck, and almost broke a sweat.

If the water wasn't hard, and if I had engines
in my boat, I'd be going out too

Port engine was starting to loose a head gasket,
so rather than dealing with them in the boat,
I yanked them out.

Tore one partially down, the other one is a nice
conversation piece sitting in the shop.

I am waiting for all of the holiday BS to get
over and I'll start hammering on them.

Probably will also do a freshing up...rings, bearings,
check the valvetrain... nothing too major.

I'm resisting the urge to throw in a good hyd roller
cam and getting them up around the 700 hp range.
....we'll see how good I do on that.

Now's the best time for those repairs.

Good luck

Well no trip to the lake tomorrow. We're building a new shop here at home and the contractor wants to meet tomorrow afternoon. The slab is down, the block and lumber were delivered today. They are ready to rock and roll but he has a problem with the size of the overhead doors I want. Oh well we were delayed by rain almost two weeks so I had better not keep him waiting so we can get this framed up and in the dry soon.

Boy, you two are being a lot of help....kind of
like asking a drunk if he needs another drink

I need to get these two back in order first.

I've been thinking of trying to find a couple
of decent orphans and make something out of them,
something that will have a more efficient supercharger
setup than what is on the 575's.....and some orphan drives, and props, and whatever else the project will entail.
