I need to get these two back in order first.

I've been thinking of trying to find a couple

something that will have a more efficient supercharger
setup than what is on the 575's.....and some orphan drives, and props, and whatever else the project will entail.
You have intercoolers on yours already right?

Hey glad we can be of help. Jason is a swell guy. Everytime he calls me I feel smarter when he hangs up!

No intercoolers.

The engines are mounted soo high, the rear studs
on the flame arrestors rub on the bottom of the hatch.

I had to replace those with a flat allen head screw
arrangement I concocted up, to keep them from
wearing into the bottom of the hatch.

And after having scoops on the hatch I made for the 29
and having to babysit it every time we rafted up,
scoops are out.

I could make spacers for the hinges, but then you
get into other support issues.

Whipples and intercoolers would fit, no problem.

Sorry but I would have to go for the scoops. That is the best upgrade you can do for the 575's is the intercooler.

I understand and having never had scoops they seem okay but would probably be hard to live with. I got tied of handling the stearn lines on Split Decision after one day of crawling around on the custom engine cover with a wing on the back of it!

Will you have those custom air boxes installed this year?

They've been on it.....the cosmetics of them continue
to be a work in progress though.

That's another thing on the "to do" list to finish.

Hey just a word of advice.

SCREW it all and just have Adam hook up 200 LED lights and it will take your mind off of everything!

I'm digging those LED's more then anything else!

Doc, that is an awesome project. I hope to see it sometime. I think you made my decision on repower easy. You only go around once. Is it coming to LOTO this summer?
