Well I heard from Dave today and the lift tube and mounting bracket are at Kustom Kolors getting painted.
Adam did not want me to post the picture of it in raw form but you all know and understand that this is a work in progress. The power steering system is bleeded and they discovered that the hydraulic pump at the helm was loose and that has been corrected. One of the sea strainers had a slight leak at a connection and that has been repaired. The ribs (inside panels) on the gunnels are finished and going in first thing in the morning. They will be finished this week and when my boat is out there is a lot of space in the shop for the next project. Give Dave an call and get on the calendar for your winter project right away! These guys are AWESOME and you will not be disappointed. |

XT:cool: I'm really looking forward to seeing you and all the folks tomorrow. I have greatly appreciated your positive can do attitude through out this entire process. As excited as I am to get the boat back I will miss watching the daily progress and having the communications with you and Adam. You have shown a level of professionalism that I have not seen in this industry before. From the first day when you were listening to my every word and taking detailed written notes to all the email and phone conversations by you and all your associates. I especially like how you never told me how crazy or stupid one of my ideas was, but instead you and Adam just ran with it and did the “RIGHT THING” that was always better then I could have ever imagined. I have learned so much from this project that my head is spinning. What I did learn also was just how little I actually knew! Tommie cannot make the trip up with me but she also wants you to know how much she appreciates you and all you have done. Just like last night when your email started out that you hope she likes the colors and placement on the ribs she instantly replied before even seeing the pictures that she knew they would be perfect. You guys are true professionals and it shows in everything you do. We wish you the very best luck with XT Innovations into the future and will support you 100%. I sure hope the word gets out and others see what a great resource we have up in Bucyrus and will support you and your company also. Many thanks Mark & Tommie Team “Dock Holiday” Powered by “Lisa & Kate” |

Doc,
It was kind of hard on us to watch your boat leave today. It was a pleasure to work on such a well taken care of Baja. Again, thanks for the dinner last night, and all the extra gifts you gave to all. Your 36 ranks with the very best Bajas to ever leave Bucyrus OH. and I hope to see you with it on Lake Erie next summer. Lets hope gas prices stay down until then. XT:drink: |

Hey guys I'm back home but very tired. I got in about 2PM today and took an hour nap and the wife and I went to a Christmas party.
I did not drink anything tonight and may not for the rest of the year. Those guys are SICK up there in Bucyrus. We got KICKED out of the Crazy Fox. Yes we did and many of the locals asked if that was even possible! The boat is AWESOME, simply awesome. We have a slight water issue on the starboard side that we could not get figured out and the weather was closing in on me so I made a decision to work on that here at home and we wraped it up yesterday afternoon. As soon as I can I will pull the drive and check the hose in the transom assembly where we believe the problem. Adam did not want the boat to leave until this issue was resolved but I was out of time and man did the weather cause a lot of problems trying to get back home. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow. |
Bring on the pics Dock. I've been waiting for them. Dave L. is definetly a first class guy. He replaced the hull on my old Outlaw under warranty. He was great to work with. I'm glad you had that great of an experience. It's hard to find people like that these days.

I was at Claytons checking on a paint set for a Harley he is working on when you called him Thursday. He will do a great job for you if you decide to go with him. Take care Dock |

We started at Bakers which has become a favorute stop me.
I met the owner and we talked about North Carolina as he comes here every year and plays golf. Lots of nice folkes there, good food and great service. Lane, Adam, Dave, Greg and I got off to a good start and Greg's girlfriend Connie who works there took real good care of us. |

We closed Bakers down and the guys wanted to head over to the Crazy Fox and show me where Al Capone used to hang out and the underground tunnels and the underground bar where the booths are built of double wall brick to protect them from a 45 caliber bullet. So we left the cars and trucks at Bakers and walked up the street in the 20 degree temps like we had good sense!

Doc,
All I can say is that the boat turned-out Sooooo....nice that it felt like we won the "World Series" and needed to celebrate a little. Work hard, play hard! :ernaehrung004: |

Greg knows the owner and got us a private tour of the underground and the custom bullet proof booths.
There is a lot of history in this little town. |

Well Dave was falling asleep at the bar and they told us we needed to take him home but he woke up for round #2.
Then Adam and Greg got to wrestling around. |
OK, OK, How about posting photos of the boat before we lose all respect.

Well you know your with professionals when you don't have to tell the taxi driver your address and that was a good thing since the only two that knew the address were passed out!:evilb:

The wife saw the boat for the first time this afternoon after I got it cleaned up on th outside and she is all smiles!
Adam actaully called while we were on the boat to see if all was okay and answer any questions regarding the stereo and LED's and the wife spoke to him a long time and I think he knew 100% that he had made her very happy with the quality of the work done on the boat. |
