My vacuum bagging rig. Found the kit/directions on www.veneersupplies.com, got the pump on Ebay for 60 bucks. Worked out pretty good, instead of running constantly and having to throttle the pressure, now its like a Ronco, I set it and forget it. As long as I keep the leaks to a minimum it cycled sproradically just like it is supposed to.

Thanks, you know how it is with your Scout project. Some days I spend hours working on it, and then I'm like 'that's all I got done??'. I keep waiting for the 'easy' part but I've yet to come to it. I'm pushing hard, I hope to be done with the glass work a week before Memorial Day, I took that entire week off on vacation to hopefully do the mechanical and be in that weekend, we'll see how it goes.

At this point, I've decided its done when its done, not going to rush it or compromise how I want it to be.

Awesome job. Hope I can get as good as some of you guys on here someday. I love seeing people put the time in to do these boats the right way.

C_deezy,

Bring that boat down here to Baja country when your ready for the interior to be done. We are only 1 1/2 hours from Toledo, so you could visit the progress every other day if you wanted? Looks like it's going to be pretty custom, even for the seating, and we will get it completed faster than anybody that I know of. I will get you a quote that you just cannot pass-up on to boot!
