XT - Hopefully that is the plan, probably not this summer but maybe over the winter. Cockpit could use some new skins as well. All in due time... I grew up in that neck of the woods, parents still live in Galion.

not sure if its to late but , I was going to put foot wells in threw the new bulkhead on mine and also on my saber, otherwise your feet are straight down. I found out in my baja that my legs would be killing me the next day, so with the wells cut out your legs are at a angle like in the joker 28 or a superboat y2k its coming out great mine is torn apart waiting to get the saber motor in. your doing great work congrats art

Did you end up using epoxy or vinylester?

Vinyl on the transom, then switched to poly and glad I did.

Usage so far is:

8 Gallons of vinylester ( lost about 2 due to non-use, they turned in the bucket)
7 - 5 gallon pails of polyester, about halfway through number 8 but hoping I don't need another one.

Uggh. Still toiling away....

Awesome thread and project! Thanks for taking the time to post.

Sprayed the cockpit tonight. Brushed the black gel on for under the seat, then sprayed the white. Mixed a little more Duratec in than normal and it seemed to help level out on the floor. Have to sand a few spots where some junk mysteriously fell out of the sky but other than that it turned out pretty good.
