Typically Rossford on the Maumee River. They added about 10 feet or so to the ramp underwater this spring so even when the water is low I can launch now.

Sometimes if we are just running to the islands we will launch out of Anchor Point/Meinke West, that's where I dropped in Friday but with the wind coming straight out of the North I was launching into the air as soon as I got out of the harbor.

Wow, almost a year later! Pulled it out of the rack storage place today and put it back on the trailer. Not winterized yet, still hoping to get a couple good days in here and there before it turns cold.

Had a great summer, put over 100 hours on the boat, made more trips than I can recall over to the islands (PIB, MBI and Kelleys) and very little issues to speak of.

Managed to get my k-planes on the boat which worked great, only issue is I'm still chasing a leaky reservoir.

Had a couple oil cooler leaks but got those squared away.

The Sierra exhaust manifold gaskets blew out on me, changed them out a couple weeks ago and back to normal.

Also took my bowrails off and filled the holes in, these still need a little work to blend them in because I rushed thru it the first time but it looks a lot better without them.

Other than that, nothing but good times and cold beers and a ton (probably several) of fuel. Made all those late nights, weekends, etc over the previous year and a half all worthwhile.

I wondered if you put it away yet. Felt good to get out on a boat again after selling mine last summer. Thanks!

Wow what a great rebuild. Looks better than when it was new. Had you ever had any experience doing anything like replacing all the rot before taking on this project, or did you just learn as you went?

I spent alot of time reading every rebuild thread I could find on this site and any other before I started. Glassdave's threads especially. I've taken on some big projects but never anything quite this big. Tjere were a lot of times when I questioned whether I should just cut my losses and pack it in. But the end result was worth it, every hour I got to spend back out on the lake made the 1500+ hours I spent grinding and glassing worth it and I can't wait to find another one and do it again. I would love to find a 35-ish poker runner with nothing but bulkheads under the deck and a full stagger in the back.

Only this time, I plan to keep a running boat around while I have one torn apart
