Nice project! I took a 190 Sport on trade and thought of restoring it over winter this winter but we have run out of time! It will still make someone a neat boat!

Tristar,

One of my best friends graduated from Purdue around 1970 and your post reminded me of him. He lost the battle with cancer about 10 years ago now and he would have been all into the PURDUE theme boat. His wife was a Michigan State grad and that was always interesting!

Thanks

Doc

P.S. Dave and Lane will take very good care of you.

That boat really worth $7K? I have a 93 204 that I am going to sell this spring/summer and I was thinking it would only bring about $5k. It looks real similar to the 190 you show in the pics.

We had around 6k in the whole project including the 05' 4.3L test engine that we bought from Baja. It only had around 30 hrs. on it, but many parts had been robbed.

We had more time involved in the project than anything else. Even the trailer took awhile to rebunk, rewire, sand, paint, and replace all the hardware.

Cool! Man that thing is way out of the water in that one pic. Where were the after pics taken? Sandusky Bay?

No, it is the Bucyrus res. where all the former Baja's were tested daily. You have to turn hard as you come-up near the boat ramp.....

No, that picture is the channel at West Harbor on Lake Erie. The running photos are from Bucyrus....sorry about that.
