Like you said, the brand is just a decal on the side of the boat!

If I do that, I wont be able to bring you an old Pachanga to restore, haha.

I am interested in what the new Checkmates will look like, but apparently there is a picture ban until the show starts. When is that? I need something fun to look at to get me through the winter months in Chicago, and that new Pachanga definately is not doing it for me.

Are we talking something more big water (Lake Michigan) oriented than the older Checkmates?

Such nice work. I wish we had folks like you around here that could do even some simple mods.

I know the feeling Steve. It is 8 hours up there from my house but was well worth the trip. What a lot of folks still don't realize is it is a "ONE STOP SHOP".

Kevin Brown - The BEST fiberglass guy around period
Lane & Dave - The best upholstery period
Dave & Adam - Rigging, Stereo & Lights / LED's
Kustom Kolors - Their work speaks for itself

TeamBaja - One bad a$$ SOB with a buffer!

It ran 55 behind Dave's Chevy and saw 95 MPH behind Adam's FORD Excursion.

Around 53-54 with one person driving it. We still used the old style speedo "pickup" that was on the boat, off to one side.....and I forgot how bad that system worked! The prop is not the right style yet. (large dia.) and the motor only turns 4000 until you over trim the drive. Will do more testing when the water is liquid again.

Tomorrow is the day, and I am sure there will be many photos posted in the correct manufacturers section. The new 244ZT should do every bit as well as a 22P. If you do find a 80's Pachanga worth fixing up, I sure hope you bring it our way.

Check out these Baja Blast jet boat seats that we just redone for Teambaja's new toy. He has not even seen them yet. We did keep good patterns for this seat because there seem to be many out there that need replaced.
