Your boat probably left the factory with a 1.5 drive ratio and a 21" Mirage plus ss prop. If you have not changed anything else, I would guess you should be able to spin a 23" Mirage. The Mirage series are 3 blade ss props. These will get you the best top speed and good all around handling. If your less concerned with top speed and want a more efficient cruise, then you could try a 22" Bravo one 4 blade.

I would start with the 23 and see where you are at. Trim it up for top speed (and if need be pull back on the stick until your just slightly under the revlimiter). This will give you a base RPM, speed and throttle position to lab from. You might be able to add some cup to your 23 to make it perfect for you. What rpm and speed were you getting with the 454 23" combination?
I found that the 25" Mirage is a turd prop in its standard state. It won't hold in a hard corner. Slips bad while coming over the hump on plane. Just does not have as good a grip on the water as the 23". I can't imagine you'll need that much prop though.
The 275 which is the same hull as the 272 was leaving the factory with a 23" mirage for both the 375 hp mag (61-63) and the 425 hp HO (65-67). The mag was rated for 4400 to 4800 wot and the HO was rated for 4600-5000. The extra speed with the same prop came from the additional RPM. Your going from 385 to 415 so I would expect the same scenario for you. Hope this helps.
