my 25 with 425 and a 23 balanced prop has touched 70 in the ocean with the exhaust open and a very light load.
Normally 67 max with 2 people and less than a half tank. My GPS is always 2 mph faster than the speedo.
The outlaw is popular on our lake and the feeling is that the 26 is about 3mph slower. Unless its a fountain and they are about 4mph faster.

not realy looking for info on the 25, its a totaly different boat. interesting to see, but im looking for the 26 info.
my dad has an 05 25 ol in florida with a 496 mag.
that boat runs 60-62 depending on load, fuel etc. with stock 23p

i was thinking the 26 with a HO would have been faster then the 25 with a mag, but so far it is not. im going to try my 24 labbed on that boat, im going to bet it picks up 1-2 mph but we'll see. either way to me it seems a tad slow. tests i have seen claim 64-68 on gps depending what one you look at, and this one isnt close to that

I have Captains Call exhuast.

The 26OL is NOT as fast as the 25, Unless its one of the new Fountain Bajas. I would be surprised if the 26 is around much longer. It is slow out of the hole and top end.

my old mans with the 4 blade jumps up fast. not the fastest hull, but it gets up fast. it also handles real well. compaired to his 25 and my buddys 25 its allot better, feels more stable and heavy in the water. its super nice ride. i think propped right it would run 62-64 all day loaded up etc. im going to try my prop befor the end of the year. we'll see.
the overall boat is great. the new layout is great. the use of space is great, the look is great. over all it is a real good boat. maybe not the fastest, but super nice.

Yea, I like that prop....great overall performance right out of the box. Much better than a stock B1 (or B1 with the Merc racing lab job....have tried both). Have only seen 62-63mph on top with the Rev but that's running in hot weather and only turning 4800rpm. In cooler weather I should see more.

Brett tells me the Rev doesn't respond as well to labbing and for the ultimate "all around" prop he'd lab a B1, for all out speed an M+. If I keep this boat long enough I may do both.

if you can hit 5800 with a m25 prop your gps should be about 67 to 68. also if you talk to brett at bbladeshe will let you try a prop and the REV 4 works well with BAJA single engine boats with stock drive height. my 26 b1 worked much better after I added the 2'' shortie to my boat.

*UPDATE*

I put the 25P Mirage Plus on last Friday and we have a brand new boat! We (wife and I) hit 65 with no problem with a 3/4 full fuel tank and lightly loaded (weekend gear) Outlaw here on the SF bay. I'm burning less fuel too at my 53 cruise speed at 4,000 RPM whereas before I was near 4800 RPM with the 23P.
