Default Ink on vinyl...

Guys-Someone apparently marked my seat with a pen. Any reccomendaions to getting an ink mark off of vinyl?? I've tried all my boating vinyl cleaners, magic eraser, and a few other products. It also happens to be on a colored (yellow) portion so I didn't want to try bleach. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I have had great success with this product...

A friend of mine used it once to get dried blood off a leather seat in his truck. Removed it with no problem. We carry the small spray bottle on our boat and use it all the time.

I would try the small bottle first to see if you like it... PM me and let me know if it helped.

Good luck and I hope it helps.

I would give the magic eraser a try, it has worked great for me, never on pen, but for $3 how can you not try it

Rubbing alcohol 99% is what we used at the plant.

That's acetone. Gotta be real careful using it on vinyl.

I've seen ink stains disappear over time just by being out in the sun. Might be better to use a cleaner lightly, then let the sun do it's job, vs scrubbing the chit out of your vinyl trying to get the stain out immediately.

Acetone will remove the stain guard coating, and melt the vinyl! I do agree that many stains will get bleached-out from the sun.
