Default New Baja Owner

I just wanted to say hello to everybody. I just bought a 2004 25' Baja Outlaw SST. I bought it from an OSO member in Jacksonville and trailered it back to Lake Norman, NC last weekend. Luckily, I got to take the boat out in Jax on the St. Johns River few a couple of days before putting it away for the winter up here. I absolutely loved it and had a blast.

I am looking a for a reliable mechanic and curious to see who you LKN owners use in the area. The engine is a 496 HO with closed cooling. There are no problems with the boat just looking for future use. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys this summer.

Congratulations on the Baja! Best of luck with her.

You'll have to post some pictures of your new pride and joy.

Very nice choice of boat and welcome to the family.

We love boating down on the St. Johns. I've logged a lot of miles and hours down there over the last eight years.

On Lake Norman there is only one guy to call and use. He has done an excellent job for me over the years.

The boat came with a 3 blade 23 pitch prop. When I ran it on the St. Johns River over Thanksgiving weekend it was windy with chop and white caps forming. However, the tachometer said it was running 70 while the GPS had us down at about 65 (64.8).

I am curious to know what people have found to be the most successful prop for the SST?

Like Dock said Ed is the man. He's coming down my way next week to winterize and do a few other things.
