It's close, but it works.

Default It sat under the hatch

It made for a very fast boat, great way to add 100hp.

my was a mid 80s with about 670hp in the end with a 2'' shortie. if you are starting new build a 632/598/572 tall deck na which you should get 750 to 825hp out of. a big blower like my new set up is 572 1071 and would not fit without cutting the bulkhead in front of the gas tank plus the seat so I bought a saber 28 but had to redo the rear bulkhead in that one too, because the gas tank is behind the seat instead of the floor. make sure you have full hyd steering to.

A buddy of mine had to do the seat notch on his 89 Force 235 to fit a B&M 250. His was not noticeable once the lower seat bottom cushion was in place - he only needed to notch the wooden part just below the upholstered seat back. Outlaws might be a little different design in the interior. He did have to fashion a metal cover over the blower pulley for safety - didn't want to see any bikini bottoms getting caught in the blower pulley!

I have a 525SC in my 24 outlaw, Back seat was moved forward a few inches, and as mentioned back seat was notched for the blower snout. engine cover clears with plenty of room. I'll be reinstalling my motor this afternoon, and ill get some pics of how it sits in there
