I have a 05 25 Outlaw and love it. Mine has the Mag. It runs 63-64 all day long with a labbed 23p Mirage Plus. I'm not the fastest in the group BUT I'm also not the slowest either. The 25's hull lets me run with others with more power but can't handle the rough like mine can.
Mine has a little over 220 hours on it now and has not given me one bit of trouble. I have a friend that has a 275 which is the replacement for the 272. He has the same power as mine and I can pull on him by 2-3 MPH. Not a fan of the windshield either...I find that not very much air flows back there because of the windshield so it gets a tad hot and stuffy. IMO.

Thanks guys for all your input. I test drove the 25OL today and loved it! I put an offer on it on my way home and he is going to get back to me by tomorrow. We had it on the lake with the owner, myself and my son and we did 65 wit no problem at all. It was smooth water, but it ran and handles amazingly. I know the resale value might be better with the OH, but with 110 hours and me keeping it for a few years and then moving up to a larger boat, I dont think I can go wrong if he goes with the offer. I will let you all know the results and the price once I get word back from him. I am excited!
