Dave,

If you bunji it well enough, I would trailer with one. The later model Baja "Trailering Covers" from Commercial Sewing with the patent "Vacu-Hold" system are better for trailering, but I don't like them for storage as much because they are waterproof and can hold moisture against the vinyl surfaces.

Yea I have one of the Vacu Hold ones, but don't like how it holds on the back because of the Xtended platform on the 302. Also it scratches the gell on the sides because it's always moving and doesn't have protection under it.

That's what I bought. Fit good, although it it not a trailer cover so take it off before you tow. Not that I would tow with a cover on, but some people think it is a good idea.

Thanks, Dave

Like I have said before, we have the original patterns that Baja used in production at the plant. I cannot match the pricing of a "semi custom" cover in a cheaper material, but we will only use the original grade Sunbrella that breaths to avoid mold issues that can be caused from other materials. Another thing to consider is that we reinforce ALL areas that contact windshields, bolsters, headrests, canvas fittings, and more. This also helps avoid color bleed on any vinyl surface from happening. I have both cockpit, and mooring cover patterns for the 29 Outlaw, and 252 models needed.

Dave,

You by chance have a pattern for a cockpit cover for the 342? I typically use a full cover when there are days inbetween boating, but intend to do a lot of "quick covers" for the night next season. Putting a full cover on a 342 on the water is a pain in the a$$.

Yep, both the windscreen, and windshield factory patterns.

I also have a couple cockpit carpets (new) that I will sell cheap. Do you have the U-shaped seating with the entertainment/sink unit?

No on the U seating. Plus mine being '99 it's the smaller cockpit.

How much for a cockpit cover? Anything but black, red or purple would be great.
