2000 was before they raised the X in 01. When they did that, they added 2-3mph to the boat. 500's might get the later ones to 80, but not a 00 IMO. I'm running ~520hp/600ft/lb on my 00 and I'm upper 70s.

Lots of people Lie about there boats speed, it does not bother me anymore. My speedo used to read 57-58 and I told people the boat ran 60. I used to do the same thing before I got honest with a GPS, I found I was only going 55 .
