Ok so I put the hydro labbed 23p 4-blade on, and I am only seeing 4300-4400rpm's? Im wondering if this is really a 23p, or if I got hosed..

Did you try the prop before the lab or did you buy it with the lab already?

I bought it pre labbed. I might send it back to hydromotive to take a look at it.

Last night i took it for a final ride before I send it back for a re lab. I was by myself with half tank of fuel, and hit 63.8mph @ 4550RPM's.. Not to bad. I bet once they lab this thing correctly I could get some good gains.

Don't expect miracles.Your numbers weren't horrilble to start with. The boat is only gonna do so much with the power it has.

Oh I know. I just want the right 4-blade so I can plane out faster, and get a better cruise speed. while still retaining my top speeds.

Hydro's don't work very well for speed on Baja's. They plane off great, handle well, but no bow lift. Also a little big for your boat and power, pitch it down if you are going to keep it. Those props work great on stepped hulls.
