Default I swapped a 496ho for a 525 a couple of years ago...

A waste of money to go from mid 60's to 71-72 mph, if it is speed you want you will tire of low 70's just as fast as mid 60's, enjoy the boat and if you want more speed trade up on your next one. Just my opinion from years of spending money on blowers and engine swaps and props ect., Nice looking boat.

Great pictures! And hot first mates!

You can match you gauge lights to your blue lights if you want.

If you put a clear light in the socket they (auto meter) sell little light condoms.

But I would personally check into LEDs.. it will be a perfect color match.

You may already be thinking about this, but if not it will be cheap and easy mod.

Do you know what bulbs they use? Do all the gauges use the same bulb?

Nice pics of the burg. Nice outlaw too. I just picked up a fountain/baja 247 with a 496ho. Being delivered in 2 weeks and keeping it at washingtons landing. Should be in the water in time for kenny chesney. Ill say hello if I see your boat out.

That sounds about right. But I would pull the panel just to be safe.
