Usually if the front mount sags your stringers are rotted. I totally agree if you have to replace stringers you should switch to offshore mounts.

well i am replacing the transom, the stringers, battery platforms and while in there raising the x and going to offshore mounts was really hoping to put this off until this winter but if i want to boat this year no other options

Hey Ed, if you don't get it done in time for the run, you
are more than welcome to ride with us. If you don't mind
riding on a AT. I don't think all the beads will fit, if you
bring as many as last year!!:signs069:

What is the old adage...."BOAT = " seems to be so true in your situation. I do feel your pain though. As soon as it is all fixed properly, you will have years of maintenance free boating though.

Like you said Ed you've already got the expenses covered. Now you'll have 90.00 extra $'s for bongwater.

I know better than to hope for that in my case... I will still have engines to go thru.

By the way, any of you guys ever do business with a guy named Bruce Dudley out of St Louis? He's on this forum as Boat1. He made me a pretty good offer to do all of the rebuild work on my boat. All four references he provided me couldn't shut up about his work. Most of them had significant work done, too. Just curious if anybody here's heard of him.
