Have you tried to hook up you batteries and see if that makes a change? Also, call the shop who did the work and ask what they've done. It worked when you left it there, it does not work now. If they left the cap loose and low on gear lube, I'm sorry to say that it sounds like they did a half azz job. Who knows what else they might have messed up or forgotten about?

you may want to verify that the plug connection on the trim pump is also nice and tight. mine had something like a round 4-5 prong plug that if bumped while in the engine compartment it would appear like it was still connected but the trim wouldnt work...just make sure its snug. my pump was located on the back right side of the motor if that helps

good luck

Thanks guys for all the help. I got out the owners manual and saw what pump I should have been checking. Our boat is stored at my parents place in a pull barn so I told my dad what you guys suggested and he said if he has the time he would check for me otherwise it might be a week or two before I get back down there to try your suggestions.

I have bumped mine while in the engine compartment. Good place to look if all other power is on.

Thanks for all the suggestions it helped. My dad said he hooked the battery pack up to the cables direct but don't remember if he used the battery switch but he did get it lowered. So either that was it or I'll see how next spring it works and maybe it's in the switch and it just worked when he tried it.
