Prop help needed for my hammer

dloftis, I have the same boat as you and setup. I agree the hammer is a pig out of the hole, but once up she really goes. I run a 23P mirage plus (not labbed) and I too come real close to the limiter(if not hit it alot). I have also considered a labbed B1. Probably will get one for next year. I have the tabs and they do make coming out of the hole alot easier. Yeah, with some adults in the back it feels like you are towing a barge getting out of the hole. My tabs are the insta trim single rams and I too have a drive shower.

I had the same problem. Had a 25p mirage (not mirage plus) labbed by Bronson Hill. Cured the problem, 4450-4500 rpm afterwards. You will probably have to use tabs to get up on plane with this prop tho...... I sold the boat afterwards, but if i was to do it all over again, i'd leave the 23 on it and have the rev limiter raised. 454mpi's are dirt cheap anyway....
