LOL! Sounds like a hell-of-a deal there! Although the 25's are such a fun boat to drive... I owned one and loved it!

Hey there Dennis... No, not yet. I PM'd a few times back and forth with the owner of this one the day it showed sold but never knew it had "sold" till I saw it in the add.

I am still passively looking but am not rushing into anything especially since after being at the Ford shop as Service Manager for 8 years I went to the gym, was called back and said "you're going to Dodge" effective tomorrow (bout 2 weeks ago now)....so I am sitting tight to make sure all is good before I step out there any further, dealerships...they are all F'd up. Don't know what I will buy when the time comes and if my 29 sells in the meantime I am all good with that. Hope all is good with you and the fam.

It has to effect the retail prices on these 35 OLs with all the people knowing about the structure problems!

Even if all of them didn't have the problem!

I think it would stop me from buying one.

I think??? lol

I've been eyeballing some 36's...awesome to get over here and read up some first hand knowledge of these boats, characteristics, power preferences, etc. I keep looking that the price of the 35's (out of my comfort zone) and price of the 36's and keep scratching my head trying to figure out if the 35 is THAT much better all around for quite a bit more money?

Are the HO's enough to get a 33 running good??

From what I've read HO's will push a 33 low to mid 70s. I have no experience with a 33 OL, so that knowledge is just what I've read on here.

The 36 OL seems like a total pig/wave crusher compared to a 35 OL.

In a good way??

I will be running at Ozarks. So for me, this being my first performance boat, I'm looking for something that will run 50 or so comfortably in the washing machine there. I don't need to go 75 or 80 at this point. Although I'm sure that will come! Just want to feel safe and comfortable running on the weekends.

I've got 502's in my 33 OL, it will run in the low 70's, I would think the HO's would be about the same.

I run an '03 33 with HO's and can get 73 mph GPS out of it. I absolutely love my 33.
