It is as durable as the paint on the outside of your car. He can do hydro-graphics over anything that can be painted. First they prime the piece. Then paint the main color for example on mine we painted it red. Then they dip the part through this film and then they just clear coat it.
Cost is more then reasonable. Valve covers were $60

We are getting closer. I will try to get a better video and some results. This video is just the first fire so we were holding it around 1800 for the rings.
