Keep in mind that both of these models are not setup to perform well in the 20 to 25 mph range in stock mode. The Hammer with a BB is a little worse than the 20ol with a standard 5.0 MPI. Plan on maybe running a "High Five" or a 4 blade prop and trim tabs would be a big plus.

Yeah I was in Thousand islands this summer and following some 4.3l boats that cruise at 30mph and my 25p would not let my boat plane out. Got a 23 4blade and gets out of the hole faster but its a 45mph boat for sure. 1998 Hammer 454mag
