I rode in a 2010 35 Baja by Fountain over the weekend and it's night and day difference with the stringers.

I had a buddy with a 2007 700 SCI liner boat and spent a ton of time in it.

Still donig a few finishing touches like painting the engine hatch ram. We blew the doors off a beak he had no idea what hit him.

I just got off the phone with a guy from Channel Marine on the east coast. (started with my inquire about a 252, as I still havent found one).

But then we got into Baja and the new Baja, he said a few things of interest. He mentioned the new owner (after the short beak man destroyed the company) is spending a lot of time in court working out the documents. And the new owner wanted to take the boats back to the way they were before Brunswick sold the company. He thought they were going back to liners, and going back to the Baja in house Aero bolsters. Hopefully they go back to decent graphics and vinyl as well.

He said they are taking orders very slowly and trying to set up a dealer network again. Also said the new company has built a couple boats built that are great looking and great quality. Will be some time but hopefully they do Baja right.

Best and only 2010 35ol ever built! I supplied a leftover Baja steering wheel you have in the one photo just because I never cared for the dune buggie style wheels. It is one nice boat for sure. I was also glad he deleted the SS bow rail.

XT, Is the 36 the only molds or is there others too?

Wasn't there some value for them to somebody?

Add a step & some other changes & have a nice big water hull....

I get a laugh out of the "About Us" page on the new Baja Marine site. Not trying to be negative, but when you read the history of the company coming from a group of people that had nothing to do with it it seems a little odd.

I also believe they hired a high school kid with a photoshop program to come up with the fonts on those boats. Send his @SS to lamination and hire a professional designer immediately!

Agreed, on both counts. To add, the website is terrible, too.

Hopefully they get the act together.
