Default Prop Shaft Height on Twin Engine Baja's

Interested in what others are running for propshaft height on any twin engine Baja's.

I measured on the inside and outside of my drive from the bottom of the boat at neutral trim and split the difference.

My propshaft centerline is 4 1/4" below the bottom directly in front of the drive.

That's pretty high IMO, are you running 5 blades or 4? Not a Baja, but I am about 3" deeper than you, straight bottom 34'.

Boat runs amazing at that height. 4 blade lab finished Bravo 30" 1.36 gears just touching 100. Handles the rough great also. Funny part is my Imco SC drives have standard length lowers! If I upgrade to Arneson obviously would run surface style herrings. But if I upgrade to a SCX it comes with a -2 shorty. I would either need a 1" or 2" spacer to run submerged props or I could semi surface a 5 blade maximus, cutting edge, or 5 or 6 blade Herring bravo style prop.

More info on my boat

Mine started at 7" from the factory and are now at 4.25". With the factory setting and 365 mags the boat ran 64 MPH. Now at 4.25 and 620 HP she runs 90 MPH with less prop blow out, runs flatter and handles much better.

JayTeee, if you get time to measure again that would be great!

Anyone else have drives at 4.25" or less?

Thanks
