Man anyone that leaves a boat looking like that, then posts pictures of it looking like that, don't care about it. I would bet everything is rotted. Not to mention that the engine and drive have been neglected. That would have to come cheap to even consider it. I can tell you if it looks that bad in the pictures, it's going to be twice as bad live.

Nightlife you were right, it was much worse in person, wife would'nt even get out of the truck, trailer tires low, canvas caved in and snow in the boat, mildew worse than the pictures, hull was chalky, looked like it had been sitting for years, he said over the phone that it had been winterized, just didn't say which year. And he is asking crazy money.

And that's how the story goes with Craigslist lol. One mans treasure is another mans trash. (Opposite to the old saying) In his eyes the boat wasn't bad at all but realistically it was hurting. Gotta keep positive buddy and keep looking. The 260 nightlife posted looks pretty clean from the pictures, I know the price is alittle high but you can give him a shout. Might be slightly further then your 500 mile limit depending where he is in Ohio. I've read on here many times if you're going to travel that far have the owner take manyany detailed pictures. If he isnt trying to hide anything he will take the pictures because he wants the sale. If they're trying to hide stuff then usually they won't take the effort to take pics. Just some food for thought. Good luck!

According to mapquest Akron is about 395 miles away, that would be in range, wonder what a 260 weighs with trailer etc, we have a 2011 Pathfinder rated for 6000 lbs but on the Nissan forum everybody towing big weights recommends air bags and a load leveling hitch attachment. I can buy an Airlift 1000 for around $100, says it's easy to install.

According to nada it says 4600 lbs but that's probably dry, and with no accessories so maybe 5000 lbs light on fuel? Plus a trailer you're at the 6,000lb range. Me personally, and just my opinion and I'm sure ill get some flack for this but I'd tow it right at the max capacity but just try and take it easy you'll be coming across 70/pa turnpike I'm guessing so they'll be some hills but just don't come down 70 through md to get to Delaware. Or the other option is to rent a uhaul one way and tow with that, not your truck. Or borrow a truck, or convince me to use my truck to go out and get it with you I have a f250 that will do the trick. It's only 800 miles round trip lol.

This boat looks really clean, seems well cared for, redone motor decent colors... Priced alittle high but might not hurt to call. And Boston is semi close. Tolls are killer heading north lol

I had a 260 and pulled it with a jimmy once. My 03 Dorango pulled it with no problems.

I had one of these 265's and it was a awesome rough water boat.. Mine had the 454mag with the alpha drive had just as much room in it as my 320 does, wasnt a speed demon but it was a really good boat it topped out at about 57mph which wasnt really to bad for a 27' with 330hp..

Oh and you can sleep 4 people on it comfortably had a sink, fridge, porta potty, camper canvas just a awesome boat!!!!

Didn't want to go that old on a 265. I do like that 27 in Boston, I can't imagine he would come down to my price range but I will send him an email. Just found this 260 on Craigslist and it is only about 200 miles away. I wish someone close by had a 260 I could look at before I go that far and make sure the wife is on board etc. How do you get up on the bow to tie off? She doesn't like jumping, the 27 has built in steps. Also I had a 2003 Durango and the Nissan I have now has more power so power wise towing should not be a problem, just ordered a airbag setup yesterday.
