You will love having Blue Engines if you can find a deal on them. Or anything reliable with 500hp plus.

^ What he said.

Get something with blue power. Reliable and easy to upgrade when you are ready. Especially in the 33... you will eventually want more.

I have been lucky enough to spend some time riding in and driving both the 33 and 36 and personally, I think the 33 handles the rougher water a little better. The 36 is a big heavy ride and it kind of just plows through while the 33 has a little better balance and can get on top of the rough and rip. That said, ride is pretty subjective in both of these boats. I like the 33 better overall myself.

Here is a pic of my old 25 next to Jeff's 33 and Dock's 36. Thought it was a good image of the size difference from the back and how much deeper the 36 is.

Go for a 33 or 35 Outlaw. I like the 35 because of the dash/shifter lay out. If you choose a 35, make sure you get someone that is a gel coat expert to look in those hidden places. The 35 is a liner boat, and there are a few out there with hull issues.

Thanks everyone for the info. We went and looked at a 2000 33' with 502's stock with 200 hrs. It's a local boat with not a mark on it. I'm kind of thinking about doin it because the condition is nearly perfect and knowing the people that own it make a big difference. Hopefully, we can meet on a fair price. Its also sitting on a Beautiful Manning trailer. I'll keep ya posted

Sounds nice man, allways help knowing a boats history. and 502s are good strong motors, that will last.
