That's a huge differance for sure!! I'm just not a big fan of the look of the velocity, just my opinion! obviously the hull is amazing to gain that much speed!!

I've been thinking about tossing the fuel injunction ang going with a carb set up... Anyone have any pros or cons to share ? I still need to get my hydraulic steering, and maybe dump the factory tabs for something better!

http://Cool thread Rick. I have a 98 with a 540BBC,CMI headers,B/M 250 supercharger with super chiller,1050 Dominator carb,BravoXR with -2 Sportmaster lower, 28 pitch Bravo prop. Best speed 84mph@5400rpm.

My Velocity 26 weighs 5400lbs with 80 gallons of fuel and all gear. Not sure what the 25 Outlaw weighs fully loaded.

I have to agree. The Velocity with the big windshield doesn't look as sharp as the Outlaw, but I wanted to go fast. When your in the drivers seat everything looks great. I do like the protection of the windshield though.
