I thought about going to look at the boat, until I saw how yellowed the bottom was and how bad the drives looked... I bet that thing has a lot of corrosion and rust!!!

He has 450 hours on boat and said he puts about 2 quarts into "each" motor during the summer and it always does 74mph. I took that as he runs them hard and I read that 502's drink oil, but 2 quarts seems like a lot. He has had it about 3 years and buys and sells toys. I did not pursue this b/c of the upholstery, hours with drinking oil and he was firm at $35k... :) |
I think I would keep looking.......
14 year old boat is still 14 years old even though it has new engines With it being in salt now, I would run not walk away There was a 29OL in Illinois that Eddie was brokering, super clean, low hour fresh water boat, I think it was a 99' for the same money. |

Some of the speed numbers here are a little optimistic. Twin 385's will run about 72 with labbed props. Twin 375's will run about 69-70. So twin 350's will be about 65 on GPS speeds, not the "Dream O Meter". These are assuming stock x dim.
