I got to look at the sender yesterday. No adjustment on the outside. I redid all the connections to see if it helps. Tank is full now so I can not pull the sender mechanism to check it for movement etc. I will do that when I am low on gas.

Is there an float arm?? usually they have a float that goes up and down.. like a toilet float.

Possibly bend it?? if show full too soon, then bending it up would work... trial and error method though...

I usually kept my 25ol full and knew how much it would take to fill at 1/4, 1/2.. 3/4 was always crap shoot as it really started to move to 1/2 quickly after I burned close to 1/2 half tank. 33ol has been a challenge.. don't want to carry around 186 gallons of fuel when that would last us 4-5 trips.

Float arm would be inside tank and length of arm should be 1 inch shorter than the depth of your tank if it is aluminum and 1.5 to 2 inches if it is plastic.
With tank near empty I would remove sender completely and check it for proper length and movement. If that does not take care of the problem I may replace sending unit.

One other thought would be to add a resistor to the sender output line . I would have to check with the more electrically intuned boaters to see if that might work
